This is a fantastic and rare mated pair of New Hampshire State Quarters. They were struck into each other. It is amazing that they survived the minting process and are still together.

Coin #1 has a 35% indent from coin #2. Coin #2 was struck and remained in the collar. This is when coin #1 entered the collar partially on top of coin #2. Then these were struck together. They fit together perfectly and lock into place. This mated pair is very dramatic and one of the finest mated pairs known.
