This is a unique pair of mated Washington Quarters. Mated pairs are usually found in the 1 Cent & 5 Cent denominations. Higher denominations are very scarce and highly sought after.

Coin #1 is an off-center Quarter that was indented by the reverse of Coin #2. Coin #2 is also an off-center Quarter that has the indent on the reverse since it was struck on top of Coin #1. A very visual and eye appealing rare mated pair in the Washington Quarter series.
