This is an extremely rare off-metal. It is one of three known Walking Liberty Half Dollars that were struck on a Steel Cent planchet. I purchased it from Fred Weinberg's personal mint error collection and placed it with a customer. It has resold twice since then.
The second known example was struck 25% off-center and is in an NGC XF 45 holder. It is pedigreed to the Milt Cohen Collection. Click here for more information...
