This is a 198X Lincoln cent dual-date double-denomination and is struck 20% off-center on a 1967 Roosevelt dime. It is a rare to have two different dates on a cent on dime double-denomination, but it is much rarer still to have two dates 13 years apart and also struck off-center! This is an extremely rare coin and is one of only two known examples of off-center struck 11c dual date coins, the other being a 1980/1981.

The last digit of the date does not show, but the upper loop of the "8" is clearly visible. The design itself is obviously from the 1980's and is different than the 1960's.

The error occurred when a dime from 1967 was fed into a press, striking 1980's dated cents and was struck off-center. Somehow the dime was fed into the press, the theory being that a leftover 1967 dime somehow got stuck in a piece of machinery and eventually became loose and got mixed into a batch of cent planchets. It's an amazing and unique major mint error that is the result of a nearly impossible sequence of events!
